Zebra Mildliners Noble/Blue Pack Review

I ordered the Zebra Mildliners in Mid-February from Japan under the influence of the hundreds of other Bullet Journalers and other Studyblr pages using them. I don’t regret the purchase one bit.

The Sheaffer VFM: My First Fountain Pen, An In-Depth Review

I got a set of Sheaffer Calligraphy Pens and Inks for my Birthday and that set ended up being my enabler. Ever since I received that set just over a month ago, I have been exploring the Fountain Pen realm. It only made sense that my first fountain pen was the same brand as my Calligraphy Set, and that’s how I ended up buying the Sheaffer VFM, in the Fine Size, in Neon Blue from Amazon.

My First Time Using All-Natural Deodorant

I was a bit skeptical about using All-Natural Deodorant at first. Could a deodorant without any harsh chemicals effectively stop odor?

I know that regular store-brand deodorants have aluminum in them, and that can cause breast cancer. Because breast cancer runs in my family, I’ve always been careful not to use too much deodorant. When a few of my friends started trying Natural Deodorants, they recommended that I try this brand: Schmidt’s. They claimed it was even better at blocking odor than normal deodorants.

That night, I hopped on EBay and picked up this Bergamot and Lime scented deodorant for $10. It’s a little expensive in my opinion, but I being healthy has always had a hefty price tag.

Bullet Journal Plan With Me: February 2017

I started using the Bullet Journal System back in September of 2016. Since then, my journal hasn’t stopped evolving. In case you don’t know what a Bullet Journal is, in a nutshell, an amazing man named Ryder Carroll created a planning system that combines a planner, a to-do list, a journal, and a sketchbook all into one. Check out his website, bulletjournal.com for more information.

I did a ton of research on Pinterest and YouTube before starting a Bullet Journal and customizing it to fit my needs. There is no reason you need to invest so much time into your planner if a minimalist Bullet Journal fits your needs.

February happens to be my birth month and so this Plan With Me is quite special. My favorite colors are blue and purple, so I used those as the color scheme for my monthly spread.

What I’m Thankful For: 2016

I’m probably a little late on the bandwagon, but I’d like to post about what I’m especially grateful for this year.

1. My Parents

Can I write a whole page about them?? Every time I’m down or I’m sick or I’m the littlest bit antsy, they’re right there to catch me. They are the reason I’ve been able to feel so secure in myself and I love them to death. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to prosper in anything I do. They have given me so many wonderful opportunities and have allowed me to be someone I can be proud of. Best. Parents. Ever. Continue reading “What I’m Thankful For: 2016”

Movie Review: Clueless

I stayed up last night watching the 1995 film Clueless. It is not exactly a classic, but I believe that the motifs you can take from this movie will hold true for a long time. Clueless was filmed in the age before laptops or smartphones, but because 1995’s technology wasn’t the movie’s main focus, this shouldn’t be a reason you decide against watching it . Before I begin my review, yes, Clueless is available on Netflix.  Continue reading “Movie Review: Clueless”

What Halloween Means for Me + My Costume, Makeup & More

Growing up, my family didn’t celebrate Halloween for religious reasons. On Halloween night, my church would host a communal gathering with games and songs, and at the end of the night, we would all go home with candy bags. Naturally, this made me hate everything about Halloween: the parties, my friends trick or treating together and all of the costumes. In Elementary School, we had a big parade around our school’s lot to show off our costumes and promote school spirit. Afterward, every class would have a Halloween Party. Kids who didn’t celebrate could sit in the library all day or stay home. Being the attention-hog I was, I refused to stay home. After a lot of pleading, my mom reluctantly picked up 2 4-piece costumes from the discount section at a Halloween store: a cat and a devil. From the time I was in the 3rd Grade until now, I have found ways to either make new, unique costumes or mix these two basic ones. Bath & Body Works Mini-Haul: The Difference Between Body Cream & Lotion

First off, I want to say that absolutely adore this scent. I picked up these items at my local Bath & Body Works toward the beginning of this month and I’ve enjoyed them a lot. I usually go for the sweeter, more fruity scents—but vanilla is my guilty pleasure. This has become my go-to perfume.

Getting to the moral of the story, during the colder months, it becomes very important to moisturize and make sure your skin stays hydrated. As we layer up, we tend to wash more and take care of our skin less. Body Creams and Lotions are two products you can use when moisturizing. Here are some key differences between them.  Continue reading “Bath & Body Works Mini-Haul: The Difference Between Body Cream & Lotion”

Life isn’t Consistent

As I write to you from the belly of the beast, I’d like to apologize to those of you who have enjoyed the consistency with which I’d written on this site in the past. As some of you may have noticed, this site has moved from whenever inspiration strikes to Bella XO.

I will not delete my old posts because that would be like deleting my past, and we all know that we can’t change the past.
