Movie Review: The Breakfast Club

Recently I watched a 1985 Classic: the Breakfast Club. I did not know much about the plot of this movie but I’ve heard from many independent sources that it’s a wonderful story that I just had to see. What I found out is that it is the classic tale of a group of kids from all different social classes coming together for the first time and realizing that each of them has their own struggle completely different from one another. Movie Review: Nerve

Screen Shot 2016-08-02 at 10.41.43 PMI saw this movie the day after its release date: on July 28th,2016. In short: it was an awesome film. After seeing the trailers, I expected a lot more romance. But this is no love story. Luckily, there is so much action and drama within the film. Everything surrounding Vee (played by Emma Roberts) seems to be falling apart all at different times—so there is never a dull moment. If you have never seen a trailer, Nerve is a game where people sign up to play and make money from dares, or to watch the players and pay a fee. The intent of the game is to get the most watchers (comparable to instagram followers) and to lose you either fail to complete a dare or you refuse to do it. Continue reading “Movie Review: Nerve”
