Happy Fall! Today I will be doing a compare and contrast of two different Lashblast Mascaras. I would like to start off by saying that these are topnotch drugstore mascaras. They go for about $7 each and they are perfect for everyday use.

Butter LONDON is a makeup company that isn’t widely known. It is an American brand inspired by London. This company sells makeup that is on the more expensive end of the makeup spectrum. The palette I will share with you today has 3 beautiful, opaque matte shades and 3 lovely shimmery shades. 

Makeup Review: Colurpop’s Lippie Stix + Swatches

Six months ago I read about Colourpop in an article from BuzzFeed and I knew I wanted to try these extraordinary lip products. Colourpop is a glamorous new makeup line based in LA and made in the USA. I got 3 matte lippie stix and 1 satin. The lipsticks are $5 each, which is pretty spectacular. All of these smell like vanilla which is another perk.

Recently I picked up this lipstick and I’m very excited to try it. Revlon is a high-end drugstore brand. This means that their products are usually between $6 and $15. I have used Revlon in the past and I think it is a lovely brand with beautiful lipsticks, nail polishes, and foundations. I was looking for a new nude lipstick and this one compelled me.

• Before buying this, I put some swatches of the lipstick on my hand to see how the color looked. On my skin, it looked just darker than nude which is exactly what I wanted.

Everyday Makeup Look Using Affordable Products

The makeup you wear every day has to be subtle. It can’t damage your face and it can’t take very long to apply. Unless you’re an absolute pro, you probably can’t afford to do full face makeup when you’re running late to work. Here are the products I use when I’m in a rush and don’t want to look as though I’ve just rolled out of bed. This post is also a tutorial, so the products are in order of which I recommend using first.

1. Eyebrows

Brow Pencil, Brush, and/or Gel. I use the ColourPop Bro Pencil. It’s just $5. I absolutely love Coloupop and I definitely recommend this product. It is a subtle and very gentle pencil to fill in your brows. It also has an eyebrow brush on the other end of it. Buy it here for just $5. You can also use a small amount of brow gel if you’re worried about your eyebrows staying in place.
