The Devil’s in the Details // 2 Fall Outfits + Makeup #OOTW

Today I will be showing you two fall outfits that I put together. They are very simple on the surface, but can easily be accentuated with the right makeup and jewelry.

Outfit 1

With football season in full swing, this chic yet sporty ensemble is sure to make your man fall head over heels. I chose a varsity-style jacket, a long sleeve black shirt, a checkered skater skirt, and Doc Martens. Of course, the jacket may not be necessary depending on where you live. The boots can be replaced with booties or heels. Get Docs for around $100 on Amazon here. Many stores that used to sell skirts similar to this one don’t sell them anymore. Thankfully, this outfit can be easily adjusted and many different skirts can replace this one.

Here is a close-up of the shirt. It has ridges in it and a mesh detailing on the collar. Unfortunately, I do not know where you can purchase this specific shirt because Aéropostale did not add it to their website.

Here is a photo of the varsity jacket. These are very cozy, but they aren’t the most comfortable jackets. The “W” doesn’t actually stand for anything—the jacket is generic. Here is a similar jacket from Amazon.

Outfit 2

The color scheme in this outfit is better suited for fall and it can be easily layered as the weather gets colder. I chose a beige sweater and draped a black button-up underneath to get a professional vibe. This is paired with black high-waisted skinny jeans and lace-up brown boots. I topped it off with a chunky necklace and sunglasses for definition.

If you want to be a little bold with this outfit, stay away from the black jeans and pick up some high-waisted shorts. I paired these shorts that have beige detailing (that matches the sweater) with sheer black stockings and my Doc Martens. This outfit will keep you moderately warm and show off your impeccable fashion sense. Once again, Aéropostale has failed to upload these specific shorts to their website.

Here is a close-up of the caramel-colored boots. Here is a similar pair of boots from Amazon for $20.

These sunglasses were also featured in Sweater Weather in Style | Fall Fashion Essentials + Outfit Inspiration. I do not know where you can buy these glasses, but fortunately, these glasses do not make or break the outfit. Here is a round version of these glasses from Old Navy for $12.

MAKEUP (For Both Outfits)

Pretty Proper Palette by Butter LONDON. It is on the more expensive end of the spectrum, but it has some beautiful, opaque matte shades and lovely shimmery shades. Bold eyeshadow takes this outfit from an 8 to a 10. Buy it here.

Covergirl Lashblast Mascaras. The Fusion is shown in this picture. Buy it here.

CG Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner. This brings people’s attention to your mesmerizing eyes. Buy it here.

ColourPop Frida Lippie and Lip Liner. A perfect pop of peach. Buy a similar shade called “Contempo” here.  Because the shade was discontinued, you can buy this on EBay. Buy the original lippie here. Buy the original liner here.

ColourPop Brow Pencil. (Not pictured) Statement brows are key this fall. Buy the pencil here for just $5.

ACCESSORIES/Extras (For Outfit 1)

I added a simple choker with a blue butterfly pendant and hoops.

I also liked the way the shimmery royal blue nail polish looked with this outfit. Here is a similar shade from Amazon by OPI that is going for $13.
